Kibale National Park is a forest national Park located in south western Uganda particularly Kabarole district, it neighbors four districts of Kibale, Kyenjojo, kamwenge and Kabarole.
It's also called the primates capital simply because it's the only park with the highest number of primates (13 species) including the chimpanzee, baboon, and several species of mangabey/ monkeys.
Other animals like the blue and red duiker, bush bucks, sitatunga, bush pigs, forest hogs, warthog, buffaloes and forest elephants.
The main activity in kibale national Park is chimpanzee tracking as over 1500 chimpanzees are harbored in a 795 km national Park divided into tracking sites of Kanyanchu visitor center, sebitoli visitor center, Ngogo, kyanyawara and Isunga.
The neighboring people are the Batooro, Bakiiga and Banyankole.
While in kibale, other interesting activities like Bigodi swamp walk, community walk, banana experience, coffee experience, visiting craters, visiting a traditional healer, forest walks and botany.
ITINERARY
DAY 1:
In the morning our guide will meet you in any place or airport and drive to Fortpotal tourism city, 300 km from Kampala-Mubende-Kyegegwa-Kyenjojo then fortpotal.
We shall have stopovers in the tea shambas, and city view.
Lunch will be served in Fortportal, then visit Amabere caves stalacacites and stalagmites in fort portal for evening, return for dinner and rest.
DAY 2:
In the morning we shall wake up early and prepare for a drive to kibale national Park for chimpanzee tracking which commences at 8:00am
After chimpanzee tracking, lunch will be served Bigodi over 10 km from Kanyancu visitor center and then do Bigodi swamp walk, banana experience and coffee experience.
DAY 3:
In the morning after breakfast we shall prepare our journey back to Kampala via bunyangabu, queen Elizabeth national Park, katunguru landing site, igara tea estates and have lunch in mbarara, then proceed to Kampala.
